In response to stakeholder feedback the SIRA certificate of capacity/certificate of fitness has been updated to include a tick box at the top of the certificate to easily identify whether the person is a workers compensation or CTP claimant.
The updated certificate is available on the SIRA website and has been distributed to medical practice software providers with a request to include in their applications as soon as possible.
As this is only a minor amendment to the 1 December 2017 version, the workers compensation and CTP insurance schemes will accept both the updated version and the previous version of the certificate with no prescribed transition period.
